Songwriters in The Round ft. Eric Long, Erin Chapin, Avi Vinocur, and Jessie Marks

7 pm / $15 adv / $18 door 21+ with ID

Eric Long’s music is fundamentally folk, with deep ties to early country, roots and blues music. His songs pull from the same cloth as Jerry Jeff Walker, John Hartford and Jimmy Buffet alike: sometimes funny, often rich with depth, and always entertaining. NPR’s All Songs Considered has hailed his voice as carrying a “timeless timbre that sounds well traveled, self-reflective and pure,” while Relix called his last LP “easy to listen to and easy to love.” facebook.com/ericlongmusic

Erin Chapin "I play in the band Rainbow Girls & I swore I’d never get one of these" facebook.com/allkindsofnoise

Avi Vinocur is a San Francisco singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer whose music roams these United States, spanning time zones and topographies, and arrives just when you need it most: a tune suddenly coming through clear over the radio during a long drive in the middle of nowhere. facebook.com/avivinocur

Jessie Marks is a dream-gaze pianist and singer-songwriter Jessie Marks grew up in the Bay Area. Born in Marin, yet having spent her life almost everywhere between Berkeley and Santa Cruz, and nurtured by the rugged seaboard of Big Sur, it’s certain that the Central California Coast is her true bloodline. The sea is her biographer, and it’s evident in the fluidity and oceanic nature of her compositions. Her melodies carry like waves along the keys of her piano, and her words float in tandem just upon the surface, carrying you far out into the depths of her own vulnerability. facebook.com/JessieLeeMarks
